Renner celebrates Gilberto Gil's 60-year career with an exclusive collection

Renner launches a capsule collection on Friday (21) in tribute to Gilberto Gil's 60-year career. Inspired by the singer's latest tour, Tempo Rei, the line features clothing and accessories that translate his journey and musical essence into pieces full of Brazilian spirit.
The creative process and Gil's participation

The collection was developed with the direct collaboration of Gilberto Gil, who helped define the aesthetic of the pieces. "We wanted looks that genuinely represent Brazilian identity," explains Juliana Frasca, Renner's style director. The singer chose blue and white as the predominant colors, referencing the afoxé group Filhos de Gandhy. Additionally, excerpts from his songs, written in his own handwriting, are featured on some of the pieces.
Two moments, one legacy

The collection is divided into two segments: Mundo: A Paz and Mundo: Palco. The first features a light and relaxed approach, with fabrics like cotton and linen, oversized shirts, and flowing dresses, reflecting the artist's free and sunny spirit. The second explores Gil's performative side, with darker tones and pieces inspired by the 1970s.
Where to find

The collection is already available on Renner's e-commerce platform and in selected stores across Brazil. More than just a tribute to his journey, the partnership reinforces Gilberto Gil's legacy as a cultural icon that transcends generations.
