SPFW announces the dates for the 2025 editions and celebrates 30 years of history.

São Paulo Fashion Week, the largest fashion event in Latin America, is ready to celebrate three decades of impact on the Brazilian fashion industry. In 2025, the event will have two editions: N59, which will take place from April 7 to 10, and N60, scheduled for October 14 to 19. The shows will be held at the Pavilhão das Culturas Brasileiras, at Shopping Iguatemi, at Shopping JK, as well as other iconic locations in the city.
Three decades of transformation in Brazilian fashion

Since its founding in 1995 by Paulo Borges, SPFW has been responsible for consolidating Brazilian fashion on the global stage. The event was a turning point for designers, models, and national brands, creating an environment where creativity and the market could meet.
Paulo Borges has always made it clear that his vision for SPFW was a three-decade project. Now that this timeframe is coming to an end, he reflects on the event's impact over the years.
The future of Brazilian fashion and the lost connection

Borges also analyzes how the fashion scene has changed over time, especially with the advancement of social media.
"What I miss is that connection. People have disconnected, whether due to new business models or different processes. It feels like we're moving in circles, not in a spiral. As if we've gone back to bite our own tail."
The 2025 commemorative edition of SPFW promises to revisit this journey, highlighting both the great names that helped build Brazilian fashion and the new talents who will continue shaping the future of the industry.
